GRIZZLY PEAK

Located in the Berkeley Hills, the original semi-custom two story home was completely gutted and renovated. Local architect Regan Bice designed the renovation in a contemporary style that takes advantage of the panoramic views afforded by the site. An additional story was added. Metal windows were used to maximize the views. The kitchen cabinets were constructed from birdseye maple in combination with absolute black granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The exterior was finished with color-coat stucco in conjunction with a custom metal roof for a lifetime of low maintenance. The entry was enhanced by the addition of a secluded courtyard with Ipe decking along with distinctive custom mahogany entry and garage doors.
